Tom Fruinis a Brooklyn artist who just completed HOTEL, a new sculptural work made from colorful scavenged signage collected from all corners of the city over the past two decades and fronted by four-stroke red neon. The signs are made with hand-printed fruit and pizza, air conditioner repair advertisements, warnings, and phone numbers, all found in demolished pizzerias in DUMBO and in old warehouses on the Bowery. Portland based illustrator Brooke Weeber’s work instantly charms. Her meticulous line work, together with soft water colour palettes, make for a modern vintage feast for the eyes. Sergio Mora is probably one of my favorite artists ever. I just can’t get enough of looking at his adorable tattoo series. And his illustrations and paintings are absolutely captivating. I love the humor and the surrealism in his pieces. Just when I think he couldn’t get better, he comes up with a new piece that totally blows my mind. (via Tattoo illustrations by Sergio Mora)

Each member of Team Vodkovia has been given surrealist proportions to exaggerate physical characteristics. Each athlete’s body is reshaped to enhance their natural talents.
